Anything and everything is possible! Been there, done that!

I always wanted to work in my dream company so I asked the Universe for it. And you know that the Universe said, “Your wish is my command,” and boom! I am working in my dream company, Deloitte!

So, my story goes like this: It was the last semester of my MBA when I got an internship at KPMG, one of the BIG4 companies. I was astonished to learn that I had the opportunity to intern at my dream company, Deloitte. Even though my internship didn’t turn into a job (perhaps the Universe had other plans for me), I had to return home. You might think I was upset and sad about this, wondering what would happen next and where I would go. Well, I was a little bit, but more than that, I was excited about going back home and spending time with my parents, whom I hadn’t been able to spend time with for the past 5 years!

I have read “The Secret” several times and I truly believe in the power of the Universe and the law of attraction. While traveling back home, I wrote a note on my phone saying that in 3 months I would be working in my dream company. I did not know how it would happen, but I just knew that it would.

After returning home, I had an amazing time with my parents and remained positive. I sent my resume to all the big companies every day, hoping for a positive response. Despite not hearing back from them, my parents continued to support me, and for that, I’m grateful to the Universe. I had my moments of doubt just like everyone else. There was a time when nothing seemed to be going right, and I even questioned the Universe. I wanted to do a test to see if the Universe was really on my side, so I asked it, like a genie, to show the movie “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” on television that day. I then forgot about it.

The next day while flipping through channels, I stumbled upon “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” playing, and it made me so happy. I felt reassured that the Universe was really looking out for me.

About a month later, I received an interview call from my dream company. I had always envisioned working there, so I would gaze at pictures of the company on the internet and imagine myself working there. Surprisingly, I ended up working in the very same office whose picture I had used as my wallpaper. This, to me, was the law of attraction in action. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I believe that whatever you think about most and feel as if you already have it will be drawn to you. The events in the movie “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” really resonated with me.

My message to everyone is that if you want something, ask the Universe for it and have faith that it will come to you. Be open to receiving it and be thankful for every moment of your life. Remember that everything happens for a reason, whether it’s good or bad. If KPMG had offered me a job after my internship, I wouldn’t have ended up in my dream company.

Gratitude is the key to getting what you want in life. Be thankful for every little thing because it can help you achieve your desires faster.
