My Visa Is Nothing Short Of Amazing!
Submitted by: penny ejb
I am 42 years old, a housewife with a startup business. I have been married 12 years but with no kids.
First of all, I would like to thank Rhonda Byrne for sharing The Secret to the world. It has changed me and now I am a complete believer!
I discovered The Secret through my sister. I had applied for a US visa last April because my sister invited me to go and celebrate our Father’s 80th birthday in August. I was worried if I would get it because I did not really have a stable job. I had a small home based business but it was not a registered entity so I thought it wouldn’t be recognized in my application.
Now, it is well known that it is quite difficult to get a visa where I live, especially for me with no work and no children to bind me to my home country. I went on my interview in April and I was crushed because it was denied. I thought to myself that I would never get one. I called my sister to tell her.
She asked me when I could apply again. I said the rules said that I can apply anytime after if I have anything new to present or my situation has changed. She said “You will apply again and I will pay for it but you must watch Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret”. I agreed and since then my life has changed.
In June I reapplied and my new appointment at the embassy was July 16. Every day I put The Secret into practice. I visualized my sister picking me up at the airport. I even printed a US visa with my picture and name on it. I felt excited and I wrote down how thankful I was. I prepared my affairs at home to get ready for my trip.
Today was my interview. At first I saw people walking away after being interviewed and they were denied. I would start to get nervous but I pushed away those feelings thinking; why should I be nervous, I know I will be approved today. Any negative vibes around me I ignored.
My turn came and with my luck a new counter opened up. I said to myself this is it, it’s time to get my visa, thank you universe. The consulate officer asked me a lot of questions but everything was easy to answer. After a few minutes she started typing for quite a while. I started to get nervous because it was silent for almost a full minute at that time. I controlled my nerves and instead I said in my head to the interviewer; Thank you for granting me a visa and thank you for the chance to visit.
Right when I said that, she looked up at me and said “Your Visa has been approved! Enjoy your trip!”
My heart jumped for joy!!! I will be leaving for the US to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday in August.
This is just the beginning of a wonderful amazing life. Thank you so much!!!
