Hi everyone.

This week at my workplace we were asked to write anyone of our choice a small note on an appreciation card telling them how much we appreciate having them in our lives. The moment I saw this email I told myself that I would be part of the nominees and eventual 5 winners of this iPad mini that was up for grabs. When the day of the draw came, to my surprise, I was told by fellow colleagues that my name was picked from the draw and made it to the 12 nominees! The reason why I was not aware of it right away was that we had different awards, and the draw was done in different pods. I was so happy and saw this as a confirmation that I would surely make it to the final 5.

The following day, which was the day we were getting the announcement of the winners, I thanked God and the Universe for the iPad mini while taking a shower at the gym. I visualized having this iPad and using it. As the day progressed at work, the email for the winners was sent and again it missed me as I was busy helping out a colleague.

Then voila! A friend called me to congratulate me on winning the iPad! I couldn’t believe my ears as I had to go verify this in my emails!
