Relax And Learn How To Change Your Energy.

The first thing I would like to do is to thank Rhonda and the Universe for bringing this amazing reality into my life. I can’t begin to describe the ways in which my life has changed in the two years since learning about The Secret. And to anyone losing faith, as I have many times, just don’t. It’s not that the Universe isn’t working, you just need to learn how to tweak your energy, and sometimes this takes a bit of time and practice.
Two years ago, I was like many other teenage girls. I was insecure, I hated how I looked, I didn’t have many friends, and I often felt alone and depressed. Today, I may as well be an entirely different person. I love my life, I’m surrounded by wonderful people, I’m popular, I receive almost daily compliments about all aspects of my life, I’m confident in myself, and I have recently been described as an ‘inspiration’ because of my infallibly positive attitude. And I’d just like to share a few of the key events that have brought me to this point.
Firstly, I needed to get into university to pursue the course I wanted. I had to choose between two universities in different cities, but I was unsure which one would be better for me. So, I decided to ask the Universe to guide me and help with the decision. Soon after, I started noticing signs. Whenever I turned on the news, there were stories talking about how great one city was and how awful the other one was. I also saw ads for flight deals to one city but not the other. When I talked about the university, everyone I met praised the first city, but not the other. Even when I booked the flights for my interview, the flight numbers were my lucky numbers. Needless to say, I finally decided to go there. I remained grateful and positive while continuing to work towards my goals.
I knew that getting into this prestigious university and pursuing the high-demand course I wanted would be challenging. To make matters worse, my dad became seriously ill in the weeks before my A levels exams were due to start. He was on the brink of death when I was supposed to be focusing on my exams. This is where the real miracles began, and I started to understand how The Secret really works. Despite being worried about my dad, I never once doubted that he would not get better. I refrained from discussing his illness. When driving to see him, I focused on counting all the wonderful things I saw and expressed gratitude by saying “thank you” for every positive thing. I never left out his restored health from my gratitude lists. Almost a year later, after two life saving operations and a course of chemotherapy, my dad became better. We later found out that he should have died during the first operation, but he not only survived, the operation also led to the discovery of cancer, which could have been fatal if it had not been treated early. I attribute this miracle to the combined positive thoughts and strength of our family, especially my mom, who also believes in the power of positive thinking and never wavered in her faith.
I had been focusing on my dad’s recovery and getting into university, but I had also been stressing about getting the grades that I wanted and needed. I asked desperately for the right grades, but never truly believed they were possible given everything that was happening. What happened next showed me the difference between feeling relaxed and allowing the Universe to work, stressing, repeatedly asking, and basically creating resistance to what I wanted. Although I did not get the right grades to get in, miraculously, I still got into the course! I have learned the difference between feeling desperate and feeling relaxed and confident. My university life has been far more wonderful than I could have ever imagined.
One practice from The Magic that has been the most useful for me is thinking of all the positive aspects of a negative situation. Initially, it seemed ridiculous, but every time I do it, I find twice as many positive aspects. I have also found it beneficial to count my blessings or things I love in my head rather than writing lists all the time. I have learned that I need to let it go and relax.
The concept of letting it go and relaxing was the hardest for me to understand, but now, I automatically feel good about a situation when I stop forcing it. I know that the Universe always knows best, and the best possible outcome will happen for me, without exception. Visualizing in a relaxed and genuine manner has been effective for me, and I’ve found it important to have lists of affirmations. Even if you do not believe them at first, the more you say them to yourself, the more they become real to you.
I recently decided on the measurements I’d like to be and started practicing The Secret for a long time without success. Finally, I’ve found a practice that works for me and puts me in a more relaxed state of mind.
I just want to share a few of my experiences. This is just a small glimpse of the numerous things that I have intentionally or unintentionally brought into my life. I want everyone reading this to know that the law of attraction absolutely works. I was a huge skeptic at first, but now I am a true believer. You just need to figure out what works for you, and even though it may be difficult initially, learn to calm your thoughts and have faith that good things are coming to you.
