I a deep believer of The Secret, however sometimes I lose faith mostly in myself and my ability to manifest things into reality. I am an academic, so most of the time I think about my work and my thesis. However, due to my limiting beliefs, things go in a circle for me sometimes. On my good days, I am deeply motivated and manifest so easily. But, there are days when I can’t just let myself think that things will pass in a good way. However, I keep saying to myself things are happening for me, not to me. That’s like my favorite line.

Anyway, to cut short my story, a week ago I had been thinking a lot about a friend. I was wondering if he graduated or not and what he was doing with the ‘covid situation’. I remembered his nickname but completely forgot his real name so there was no way I could Google him. I still went to his university page to see if I could find him there, but no luck. Oh, by the way, I lost all his contact information, so there really was no way I could contact him. Literally zero. Then I completely forgot about it.

Then today after dinner I checked my phone and there was a message from a Chinese number on my WhatsApp. The message said hi and his name, and he asked how I was doing and some follow-up questions. For the first few seconds, I just could not figure out who this guy was, even though I replied to him immediately.

Then I realized it was him! I was shaken, I am still flabbergasted from the event! How on earth it is possible? We have not talked to each other for more than one and a half years. I did not even know that he had my WhatsApp number.

So guys, I just might have learned one important thing from this. When you totally forget about your wish but you still really wanted it, it will happen out of the blue, like magic. So miracles happen when you forgot what you asked for, or in better words, when you let it go.

I hope some of you get inspired by this. I, for one, am certainly holding on to it as it has made my belief in The Secret more firm. Thank you to The Secret team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
