It Looks Terrible But Wait!

A bit more than a week ago, I took my daughter to get a new cell phone. While we were in store, the sales associate looked at my billing and advised me that I was being charged for a monthly streaming service subscription. I canceled my streaming account around a year ago. He advised me that I had been charged for the last 5 months, nearly $20 a month!!
I phoned my carrier and the streaming service and had a run around between call centres getting a fraud case started. It left me feeling violated and unheard.
I stopped a moment and put joy into seeing my situation resolved and working out very well for me with a full refund.
I got my next bill Friday evening. The streaming charge was still on it. I took a moment and reminded myself of my picture, and phoned into my carrier. The agent quickly reversed the charge and advised me that she would transfer me to a supervisor about the fraud investigation. I thanked her. Two minutes later, my call was disconnected.
My vision and the gratitude behind it held strong despite all this.
Yesterday evening I got a call from the provider that they found the account had been charged since February, 2021!!! And I was being credited all of it including tax. The gentleman was so kind. I received over $225 in credit! I won’t have to pay my phone bill for a couple of months!
My gratitude to the Universe for the reminder that, although something feels unpleasant right now, it doesn’t mean it won’t result in something very positive. And thank you to Rhonda Byrne for The Secret and for the lessons.
