My roommate/friend and I were living in Colorado, struggling with depression, and unhappy about our current situation. A friend from California recommended the book, and we both read it in March of 07. We made extravagant goals, and policed each other about negative thinking.

In June, we both got opportunities to move out of state, not what we had planned or visualized! We both got fantastic jobs, doing exactly what we wanted, paying more than we expected. I found a rental with tons of space, 2 miles from my work, for exactly what I wanted to pay. She has a fantastic new boyfriend.

We talked last month, and she said, do you realize we read that book, and within 4 months our lives are totally different and amazing. And no, I hadn’t realized, but it was true!

We never thought of moving out of Colorado with all of our positive thinking and goal setting, but we are both well on our way to getting everything we asked for once we’d read the book!
