It was the time when my graduation was about to be completed and most of my friends were either going to work at jobs or to universities for further studies. I was also planning to pursue further studies. I wanted to get into my dream university and I was praying really hard to get there. To manifest this dream I tried using the law of attraction and The Secret. I downloaded an image of a famous monument in the city where that university is and kept it as my lock screen wallpaper. Whenever I turned on my mobile this was the first thing I saw. I felt positive and grateful and visualized that I was actually there and looking at that monument in person.

Several months passed by and the day of admission came near. I took the entrance exam for that university and wished for the best. The results for admissions after the entrance exam came back and I was not selected. I was feeling disheartened. I do not know why but I kept that wallpaper and I kept giving and feeling gratitude.

When a month had passed, for some odd reason I had the urge to check that university website again and to my surprise, there was another list on the basis of still vacant seats. My eyes teared up as I saw my name there. I got my admission to my dream university and visited that monument as well, filled with gratitude.
