I traveled to Turkey for a cosmetic procedure. I meet my sister there and we had our surgery. The surgeon is wonderful and he has done a good job on my and my sister’s bodies. The recovery period was rough, I am not going to lie, the hospital was ok but not the type of aftercare that we are used to receiving. I decide that on my return home, I should upgrade my seat. I call the airlines and ask for both flights to have wheelchair assistance and upgraded seats on the plane. I received a confirmation email from Sunwise Air but not yet from Lufthansa however, the internet at the hotel was spotty so I did not worry about it too much.

Wednesday was my day to fly home. I said goodbye to my sister with a heavy heart, I always miss her so much. She’s this bundle of joy and so very lovely. I am assisted well on the first flight from Turkey to Frankfurt! I landed in Frankfurt and there was still no email from Lufthansa. I got assistance to get through the security screening and then I went to the gate. The cart that is driving me stops so I can get tea and a snack to take my antibiotic. I was waiting to be on board the plane before I took my pain meds. I went to the gate and asked for my boarding pass, but still, no email, and the lady said she could not find any upgrade or the change to my seating. I tell her I was given seat 5A. I am listed for seat 26A and the thought of a long-haul flight after surgery without legroom is not one I wished to have. The airline lady tells me to call and find out what happened. I take a seat next to a very nice man. He was also looking to upgrade but they quoted him $800 to move to business class and he declined.

I called the airline, Lufthansa, and they said that I got lost in an email breakdown. No internet at the hotel, so my seat had been canceled and I was placed back at the back of the plane in seat 26A. They said that I should ask for an upgrade and ask to be credited for my troubles. I chose not to complain and just asked if they could find me a seat with a little more legroom. They said they would put me in seat 16E.

They escort me to the plane, I took my seat and I was happy with the extra room. A nice man, Michael Ludwig (Dr.Mik), boarded the plane and is seated next to me. We start chatting and I found out that he’s a licensed psychotherapist, a spiritual believer, a reiki healer stage 3, and fully immersed in the Knights Templar and the Masonic order. He served in the army and took martial arts and that was what opened his mind to meditation and different religious beliefs. He’s a truly religious man and a firm believer in God and something bigger than us. What a brilliant mind I sat next to. He’s fully aligned with what I’m trying to achieve with my equestrian coaching. We sat in silence for a while. As we were waiting for our food to be served, he was very quiet, closed his eyes and when he opened them he told me he had just done a reiki session for me and to keep my back wound extra clean and take care of that area. What a wonderful human being that he would be kind enough to do that for a person he’s only just met Wow! He lives in York PA, 45 minutes from the farm, and knows all about the area I live in. He loves the Renaissance era, has been working on a film in France, and is so very interesting. His lady is an Heiress, a beautiful one! He shared her photo with me. He has plans to move to Germany in September!

What are the chances? I’m just about to begin my search for a therapist to work with, I am halfway across the world and Dr. Mik comes and sits next to me on my flight!

Thank you to the Universe! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was so very excited as we talked about our work, beliefs, and travels. We plan to meet up, and exchange numbers, and then he said he already has a client in mind to send to me.

I am ecstatic that we are going to meet up and discuss our work so that we can help each other help others. What a great journey I am about to embark upon. Thank you, Universe, thank you! The Universe works in magical ways! This all took place because I didn’t receive an email from the airline to upgrade my seat!
