I have known about The Secret and The Magic for many years. I’ve watched The Secret movie many times and have read all of Rhonda’s books and I absolutely love them. I have two experiences to share.

About twelve years ago I decided I wanted to move to a particular city near me. I had no idea how I would make it happen since I was living in a condo that I owned. This was right after the financial crisis of 2008 and it wasn’t the time to sell. I spent months looking at available apartments in this city and saying very emphatically to myself on a daily basis: “I am going to move to [this city] next summer.” I really did put emotion into it!

As the summer got closer, a friend who lived in this city told me that she needed a roommate and asked me to move in. Of course, I said yes! And as for my condo, I was able to rent it out to an acquaintance. It was so perfect how it all worked out!

Just a few months ago, I decided I wanted to pay my car loan off. I had two years left to pay on it but had no extra money to put toward the loan. I started stating to myself multiple times a day: “I am paying my car off in full, in cash.” Just two weeks ago I received a notice from a former employer about a pension that I was vested in. I had worked there a short time and figured my benefit was very small. To my surprise, I am able to take a lump sum payment for this pension three months from now on my birthday. The amount of the payment will be more than six times my car loan balance! I am so thrilled and so grateful.
