The Horses….

New Brunswick, CanadaI'm 21 years old and I feel so blessed to have learned about the Secret while I'm at the age where I can really understand the impact the Secret can have on my life
I show horses competitively each summer and fall. I spend hours on horseback training, every day, rain or shine, in preparation for shows.
This past spring I made the decision to get my horse, Cheyenne, bred. After making all the arrangements to get her bred, my common-law husband and I began to have problems. We fought continually and I wasn’t sure how much longer I would be able to live with him. I started to worry about the impending breeding of my horse… it was too late to cancel, and if the breeding was a success I would have a foal on the way and no place to keep it. Little did I know that I was starting to use the Secret unconsciously.
After breeding my mare the first time, the vet was sure the breeding was a success, but upon ultrasounds a month later, there was no egg in sight. The vet decided to try breeding her again. The second time he bred her, he said everything was perfect, and that if he could make guarantees, he would guarantee me that she would be having a baby the following Spring. Though I was excited to be possibly having a baby horse, I was worried about my relationship, and about what I would do with the foal if my boyfriend and I broke up.
A month later the vet returned to ultrasound. He was excited, confident that the breeding had been a success, but much to his dismay there was no signs of any egg. He couldn’t comprehend what happened, but I knew very well what happened – I had used the Secret to prevent my horse from getting pregnant.
Another way the Secret has worked for me was that since I had decided to breed Cheyenne, I decided to retire her from showing and try out my other horse, Monty. Monty had never been to a show, was only ridden out on the trail, and had a serious attitude problem. But every night before I went to sleep I envisioned us competing and doing well, even winning.
As the shows got started Monty managed to impress everyone. He beat seasoned horses who spent all their time at the trainers. He was rarely nervous, which was rare for a horse in a new environment, and he even performed better in the ring than he did at home. He even managed to take first place in one of his biggest classes, and placed in the top three in one of the money classes. I knew it was all because of the Secret. People had warned me not to expect much of Monty since he had never been shown before, but I had high hopes and expectations for him, and every single one of them came true….
Now I can’t wait for the 2008 show season =)
