It’s Okay To Express Your Feelings.
Submitted by: Lara
Manchester, UKI am 17 years old currently studying for my exams. I love to read, draw and eat! Travelling is one of my main goals in life and I love meeting new people.
So, I would just like to thank the Universe, God and The Secret for being able to write this and share my story with you all. I’m even thanking you for reading this too!
So, in my school, we aren’t allowed to have our phones out when crossing the roads or during lesson times. If you break this rule then you don’t get your phone back until the week after. One day at lunch, I was crossing the road and tI took my phone out to check the time. A teacher saw me and took my phone from me. I tried explaining that it was a misjudgment but the teacher wouldn’t have it, so I walked away angry and upset.
I let my feelings out, I expressed them and then let them go, even though in my subconscious mind, I knew this wasn’t helping me at the time since what you feel and think, you attract.
After calling my mum and telling her what had happened, she was surprisingly calm and told me not to worry about it. I spoke with another teacher and told her about the situation, and she came back telling me I was able to have my phone back on Friday. I thanked her very much since I would be getting it back in the same week and then left to go to an appointment.
Two hours later, I was asked to go to see the teacher who took my phone off me and to my great surprise, I got my phone back! The same day! They admitted it was a misjudgment but asked me not to do it again. I walked away thanking the Universe and God.
My moral of this story is that it’s okay to express your feelings and then let go of them! I was grateful for even being able to get my phone back in that same week since my school had a very strict policy about phones. It is important that you express your feelings and let go of them. Sometimes, trying to suppress or forget about those negative feelings will just come back harder and upset you even more!
