Sacramento, CAI'm a realtor and love to cook. I cook for family, friends, and my husband in my new kitchen. I love to be in the kitchen and I love being a realtor as well, but nothing beats being in the kitchen
My husband and I lived in Virginia about 15 years ago. After a week of settling down in Virginia, I wanted to explore my opportunities in new home sales (I had always wanted a job in new home sales). I interviewed for a fabulous job selling town homes on a beautiful lake in a beautiful community. Lo and behold, I got the job that very day and started the next day. I was HAPPY, grateful, and startled at the same time, because I did not have experience in new home sales. I found the most glamorous job selling beautiful town homes ON A LAKE. I felt overjoyed.
I had three models to show and I used to sit on the end unit’s deck, because it had a view of the lake and the land the developer would use in future development for more town homes. I would do this daily and wonder what it would be like to live in such a community in a town home with a lake view. Well, the developer went out of business and the land was sold to another developer, but they weren’t able to share information about which developer would take over. Oh, well.
Three months later, my husband was on his way to work and called to let me know there was a sign (where I used to sell) on the land advertising town homes with a lake view. He asked me to get over there quickly and get more information. I met with the sales rep and stated I used to sell right across the street from her trailer, and asked if any of the town homes with a lake view happened to be available. She stated there was, because I was her FIRST home buyer. She showed me the area and I was amazed to see it was right across from the town home where I used to sit and watch the lake with a dream of living there one day. In addition to that, it would be an end unit, with more square footage and a huge side yard. I gave her a deposit IMMEDIATELY and the home was built within six months. We moved in and I cried, because I was in my dream home and very grateful to have my dream come true.
Well, seven years later, my husband wanted to move back to California. Now, this time I wanted to live in an upscale golf community (because I managed one and liked the lifestyle), but thought it would be too expensive. Guess what, we found a home on the internet within our price range. I wanted that home, because I used to dream of living a resort lifestyle. My husband flew to California immediately and signed a contract. We sold the home in Virginia within 3 months and moved back home to California. I was back home and very grateful.
Now, I’ve found The Secret. The Secret has changed my way of thinking and living. I read The Secret every morning and use it in my life daily. Well, time to attract another home into my life. As I mentioned before, I use The Secret ALWAYS and I have no doubt I’ll find that new home very soon, because I’m grateful for the lifestyle I have and am asking for, and grateful to The Secret for opening my eyes and heart.
