I read The Secret when I was 19 years old. At that time I guess that I didn’t know very well how to use it, even though I had read the book and watched The Secret film. I think that my faith was not very strong and at some point I let The Secret go.

For many years I realized that many things that I believed could happen, did happen indeed. I got the highest score in my thesis presentation. After some years of working as a teacher, I decided to go for a postgraduate career in writing. Against all odds, I was accepted at a university in the UK.

I was so happy and ready to apply for a scholarship, however, the Covid 19 emergency caused all the scholarships in my country to be canceled. Then, after months of preparing for another application for a prestigious international scholarship, I was rejected.

I cried for an entire day. But then, I just realized how often I checked my email since December, expecting to find something about the scholarship and knowing that acceptance applications were sent out starting this  February and on. I made this happen because I was waiting for the rejection email, and I manifested that with my actions.

It is difficult to accept that you are the cause of the things in your life. I was alone in another city, staying in my cousin’s house. One day, I found The Secret book with notes made by my cousin who was no longer here. I saw his hand written notes inside the book and I felt how much I missed him.

I decided to rewatch the documentary and put gratitude and visualization into practice. Then, I started with small things. The first day I said, today I will talk to someone that I love. Hours later, my favorite aunt sent me a message to check on how I was doing and we spoke for a while. The next day I said, today a very dear friend from the past will talk to me. Again, hours later, I uploaded a ‘story’ on Instagram and a very old friend from high school replied. We talked a lot that day. It was a miracle because I had not seen or heard from him in ages. I only saw his pictures on Instagram but no contact at all.

Then I decided to win the lottery. Out of 14 numbers I got 10. I earned a little less than the cost of the ticket but I continued to play. Last night I did a meditation and visualization exercise to earn the prize. I asked to help a lot of people with the prize, not only me. To be honest, I just want the necessary amount to be able to pay for the Master’s program, the visa, my plane tickets, and accommodation. Then I could earn money with my writing after studying.

What happened last night was a miracle. When I saw the results of the lottery I was surprised. It was very unusual for someone to get the prize or more than one prize. This lottery game has many categories. Last night almost every category had a winner. Millions and millions were won. People earned the biggest prizes, like houses, and cars. I had never seen something like this before. Something happened in my chest. I knew it was me that caused this somehow. I had sent all my energy, and all my love to the lottery and people. I didn’t earn any prize this time but tears of joy fell from my eyes. It was prosperity in so many shapes. In my heart, I know that I contributed to that miracle! I feel so happy that so many people can feel so much abundance. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The way the attraction law works is so unknown and at the same time so great. Right now I know that I will be able to study abroad and do what I have always wanted to do: write, travel, and provide for my family. I am so grateful to be rediscovering The Secret ten years later after the first time I read about it. There is no limit for me.
