I found The Secret in the little library in my neighborhood, and I read it towards the end of last year. I’d made my wish list and sent it to the Universe, but I didn’t get serious about the law of attraction and the power of thoughts until this February. I downloaded The Secret Super App and have been practicing gratitude and affirmations, but I decided to take things to the next level and get the audiobook of The Magic. I immediately started following the daily tasks.

In the first week, I manifested $2,400. I had a buffet that I had been trying to sell on Facebook Marketplace for over a year. The day after I wrote “I am so grateful for all the money I have received” on a dollar bill, I had a cash offer on the buffet. I closed a credit card in the fall, and I was supposed to receive a refund for $800 after I closed the card but for some reason, they weren’t sending it to me. Within two days, the money had been sent. I was not supposed to receive my tax refund until the end of the month, and I received it early today. Today, my coworker and I had a meeting with a potential client for some contract work, and it looks like we’ll be getting the contract. I know this is all because I have been acknowledging all that I have to be grateful for.

I’ve also grown apart from several friends since the pandemic and have been feeling lonely. I have been making a conscious effort to connect with new people and strengthen the relationships I do have. Yesterday, I got a friend suggestion on Facebook for a girl I used to be friends with when we worked together. I sent a friend request, and when she accepted, we chatted back and forth on Messenger. Like me, she has two kids, and she just got divorced. I asked if she wanted to get together to catch up. It turns out she moved to my neighborhood and is a six minute walk away!

I’m only on Day 11 of The Magic, but I am astounded at what has transpired in just a few days. I am so grateful I came across The Secret, and I am so grateful for Rhonda and her generous spirit in sharing her message of love and kindness, and gratitude so freely! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
