What a gift!!!!
Submitted by: Teresa A.
Minneapolis, MNI am a wife and mother of three children. I have worked 2-3 jobs at a time to make ends meet, until I watched "the Secret".
My mother told me I must watch this movie on the internet. I wasn’t too thrilled about it, but did it anyway to make her happy. I didn’t have the time to take 90 minutes out of my day. I worked 80+ hours per week, I am a mother of 3, not to mention a wife and cook.
I sat down at lunch time one afternoon to watch. It changed my life. It changed how I approached all difficulties, because I had brought them about myself. (This was a hard pill to swallow)
I bought the movie. My children ages 8, 9 and 10 watched the movie with me the day I received it. It is amazing the things that are happening for them. My son imagined going on a trip to somewhere warm. Within 48 hours, he was invited to attend a “field trip” to Hawaii next summer to study science. My daughter who started a new school was nervous about making friends, and it wasn’t going so well. After watching the movie her additude has changed dramatically. She is invited just about every other day to go to another girls house or birthday party. She, who is 9, says that the movie is the best thing she has ever watched. She tells people, usually adults, about The Secret, and tries to get them to watch the movie with her. She insists that they will feel better if they do.
As for myself, DEBT has always been a frequent dirty word at our house. I still have the debt, but have decided that I have plenty of money and I am wealthy. Money has been appearing from places I would have never expected. Checks from parents, an unexpected bonus from work, I even found some cash in an old jacket. My debt is going down quickly. More importantly, my wealth is increasing quickly.
I’m not quite ready to give up 2 of my 3 jobs just yet, I really enjoy them. I firmly believe that 3 months from now I will be living in total abundance.
What a gift my mother gave me, and in turn, I was able to give to my children.
