In Toronto, the Maple Leafs are not just a hockey team, they are a religion.
For many years, one of the key players from the 1967 Stanley Cup winning team refused to have anything to do with the Leafs organization.
That player is Dave Keon.
On my vision board I keep a ticket from a Leafs game I attended.
It was always on my mind – “how can the Leafs get Dave Keon back in the fold?”
Tonight, #14, Dave Keon, Stanley Cup Champion, winner of the Conn Smythe trophy (as the most valuable player in the playoffs), stepped onto the Air Canada Center ice to a long and well deserved standing ovation.
THE SECRET WORKS !!!!!!!
WELCOME HOME #14 !!
