Acing the test
Submitted by: M. M.
KansasI am a good student. I do well in my college classes because I study but regardless of how much I study (to my immense frustration!) I don’t make perfect scores on tests.
Last Monday I picked up a copy of “The Secret” in Borders Book Store, then I put it back on the shelf. Then picked it up again. Then set it back down. I am so grateful I listened to the little nudge of intuition that said, “Pick up that book and read it!.” I did. I read almost the entire thing in one sitting, finishing it the next day.
Now I am increasing my gratitude for everything in my life and sending the Universe CLEAR messages of what I want instead of the garbled, misconstrued, mass of mess I was sending out.
This morning I faced yet another exam. Normally, I would say to myself, “I hope I do well on this test, but if I don’t, oh well.”
Today I said, “I want to ace this test,” and believed that I would. I promptly forgot my request, got to school, and took the test. I checked my score before leaving for the day and was happy with the result. I didn’t think to much more about it.
It wasn’t until this evening as I relayed to my family how I had done on the test that a light went off in my head that I had gotten exactly what I asked for this morning – I aced it! I had believed so completely that I was going to get a perfect score, it didn’t seem out of the ordinary to me when I did.
I’m really glad I realized I got exactly what I asked for so now I can be grateful for it. Thank you.
