One Day At A Time.

Dongguan ChinaI’m a businessman, and a designer of things, having lived mostly in Asia since 1989.
I moved to Asia in 1988 to pursue a career in footwear design. That went well until 4 years later when my boss sold his company and I was no longer needed. I was immediately offered a footwear design position in Cincinnati Ohio to relaunch an old but popular brand. I politely refused the offer because I felt there was still work for me to do in Asia.
I checked into an HK hotel for 3 months and went about living life. Two months in, a large, USA based company called me for an interview with the president for a special design position in Taipei. I got the job and immediately relocated to Taipei and moved into an apartment just a few blocks from the office. All went very well for 4 years until the company hired McKinsey to restructure the company and I was structured out.
Within two days I had a new job in Taichung as the VP of the company. I had a car and an apartment just a kilometer from the office. That job went well for two years until I was asked to leave. Within a week I had a new job as the first brand manager for the company. They gave me a company car and many perks. After 7 years, our president left and the new one let me go. After that came a series of short, but interesting jobs.
Then 4 years ago came the virus. I was forced to go back to the USA for a year but got myself back here within a year, fully healthy. Now, because of the treatments I received, along with 2 1/2 months of quarantines in various locations in China, I’m back in my home with my people. However, my ability to sleep has been affected. I’m taking sleep meds but I’ve asked the Universe to heal my sleep. Before the quarantines, my sleep was perfect. Now because of the lengthy traumas I guess, my body is unable to sleep. As Rhonda and the LOA state, anything is possible and I’m living proof that this is not only possible but is also becoming a fact.
