My story starts out with me being a woman in my 50s. I stopped my life for a year to take care of my dying mother. Once she passed on, I tried to reenter the Pharma sales world only to find that no one wanted to hire a 50 something with experience. What they really wanted was a young girl, a short skirt, and right out of college.

I tried for many years to find work, and with no luck, I began to feel like I landed in the worst storm and had nowhere to go for shelter. My life was over!

Well, not so fast! As we all know, stress breeds illness, and I was stricken with a terrible case of bacterial pneumonia. Never having had pneumonia before I did not know how sick one could be.

Although I was very sick from this illness, along with it came my creation of one of the healthiest ‘horse cookies’ in this Universe! I could not afford much, so I grabbed a few things in my kitchen and started making these horse cookies for my horse. It just so happened they turned out so good that horses loved them, and the owners did too! I knew I had a hit and a path back to having a career that I loved and had a passion for. I could hardly wait to get outside and start selling, but this time, it was me crunching my own numbers and for my own company.

My best friend believed in me and the product. She bankrolled my business and we became business partners. I went national 3 years ago and we are still growing. Although I have not made the million mark yet I am certainly going to, because I want it!

I read your book, The Secret, when it first came out, and when I would get stuck I would read it again. I am reading it for the third time just to continue my practice of asking, believing, and holding close to my heart the gratitude I have for what I have been given.

I do not wake up and go to work for the money. I go to work because I know I have created a product that has helped countless horse owners with medicating their horses when they have given up. Yes, I created the first soft, horse cookie that can be used as a horse pill popper! My passion and drive will continue to bring in the profits, but I do not do it for the money. I do it because I love it and I am passionate about what I do. Money only makes your life more comfortable, it does not bring happiness. You have to have the passion and drive to make it happen! This gives one the biggest highs, I like to call my joy high!

We all are deserving of second chances in life, and I received mine. For everyone that reads The Secret, just keep reading it! As I mentioned, it is my 3rd time, and what is so great is that I get something new each time I read The Secret. The Secret helped me get through the loss of my mother, a horrible illness, and most of all, it helped save my life. It also granted my wish, yes, there is a Genie in a bottle.
